Our guests will often experience the best fishing of their lives with us, and enjoy it amidst a display of scenery and wildlife that few places on earth can match.
Yet for many Langara guests, the most impressive aspect of their trip is the tireless energy and attentive service from our hard working staff.
We take great pride in setting a very high standard of service at Langara. If you feel you are capable of meeting and exceeding that standard, and are excited about the opportunity to work in a remote environment, we’d like to hear from you.
A love of the outdoors, strong work ethic and positive attitude are prerequisites.
Most of our available positions are for seasonal employment at Langara Fishing Lodge and Langara Island Lodge.
Positions include a positive working environment, competitive wages, shared accommodations, meals, lodge uniforms and travel to and from the lodge. Preferences will be given to applicants with previous resort experience, Serving It Right and/or related certifications. We also prefer applicants who are available to work our entire season (mid-May to mid-Sept), but this is not a requirement.

I've been a whale watch guide in Victoria, BC, for over 8 years. I've travelled, fished and photographed most of the BC coast, but never had I witnessed a spectacle of wildlife like what greeted us on our trip to Langara. It is an experience we will never forget.
