RIVER FISHING

The rivers of the Queen Charlotte Islands are truly the hidden treasure of BC’s many great sportfishing opportunities.

Three main rivers, each with distinct characteristics, along with numerous minor rivers, creeks and lakes throughout the Islands, provide tremendous fishing for a variety of species all year long. These waters are very lightly fished and well managed, meaning you are almost certain to enjoy exclusive use of the waters our guides introduce you to.

Steelhead are the main attraction, and all of our rivers produce consistently strong runs of this magnificent fish in the late fall, winter and spring. Spawning coho salmon are abundant from late summer through the fall, and resident cutthroat trout can be found all season long.

Our river fishing packages are guided only, ensuring a quality experience. All equipment, including waders, can be provided, although guests are welcome and encouraged to bring their own.
