CALENDAR & TRIP SCHEDULESRiver fishing at Kumdis River Lodge is possible all year long, but our guided packages are best booked between September through April. Coho salmon usually arrive in our rivers from August through October; the much sought after steelhead are present from late October through April; the rest of the year features fishing for cutthroat trout and Dolly Varden. Trips can be scheduled for any length of time, and can begin and end on any day of the week. Travel to Kumdis River Lodge consists of a 2 hour scheduled flight from Vancouver to the Queen Charlotte Islands, followed by a 30 minute drive to the lodge near Port Clements on Graham Island. Exact times vary, but trips usually depart Vancouver early in the morning on the first day of the trip, and return to Vancouver in the late afternoon on the last day. PRE & POST TRIP TRAVELGuest travelling from out of town should arrive in Vancouver the day prior to their trip start. We also strongly recommend that guests flying home book return flights for the day after their trip end—return flights to Vancouver from the Queen Charlotte Islands are occasionally delayed.
