Welcome to langara.com, the virtual home of Langara Fishing Adventures (LFA).

Clients of LFA and users of this site can rest assured that LFA will not collect any personal information about you unless it is voluntarily and knowingly provided to us, nor will we distribute your information to any third party, for any reason, without your explicit consent.

Browsing our site

Our website does not gather any personally identifiable information from you or your computer while you are browsing though it. Unless you choose to submit one of our online forms, we will not know your name, email address or any other personally identifiable information.

Submitting information

Information entered in any of the forms on this site will be submitted directly to LFA and stored in our private and secure database. All forms on this site provide the user with an opportunity to opt-out of being added to our mailing or email lists. Users who agree to be added to these lists may receive the following:

Mailing list

People on our mailing list may receive our annual Fish Tales Newsletter, a glossy full-colour newsletter mailed each spring, featuring a recap of the previous season and information for the upcoming season. LFA may also mail other informational pieces to specific cross-sections of our mailing list, but these are sent out very infrequently and no more than once or twice per year.

Email list

People on our email list will receive our Email Newsletter, which is sent out no more than once each month. Our Email Newsletter provides the latest news, information, and features about the Langara experience and BC sportfishing in general.

Email Newsletter

If you receive our Email Newsletter, we will receive a report that can confirm whether you opened the email and what internet links you may have selected within the email. This information is used to manage our email list and to help us better compose future emails that will be of interest to you.

If you wish to discontinue receiving our Email Newsletter, an opt-out link is provided at the bottom of every email, or you can simply send an email to news@langara.com asking to be removed from our email list.

Email postcards

Sending a Langara email postcard requires you to submit the name and email address of yourself and the recipient. LFA will send the recipient the requested email, which will contain a link to view the composed postcard within the langara.com site. We will not collect or use the recipient’s information for any other purpose.

The links we provide to other sites are checked regularly to ensure they are correct and active. While these sites are meant to be of service or interest to our clients and users of langara.com, we are not responsible for the content of these sites.
