Catering that caters to serious anglers.

When we first began operations over 30 years ago, we set out to redefine the standards for remote lodge dining by hiring professional chefs and sparing no effort to deliver the finest and freshest ingredients to our isolated location. That tradition continues today, with a dining experience that promises to satisfy both an angler’s appetite and a gourmand’s palate.

Our Remote Restaurant

Unlike many other remote lodges, the dining experience at Langara Fishing Lodge is akin to visiting a fine city restaurant, at which you can arrive and depart on your schedule.

Every evening features a new menu, highlighted by up to 6 entrée choices and accompanied by a selection of fine wines.

Dawn to dusk dining

Early risers can enjoy a hot-cooked breakfast as early as 5am, and guests stretching out their day can still grab a table for dinner as late as 10pm.

Given the Lodge’s close proximity to the fishing grounds, lunch in the restaurant is always just a few minutes away. Or stay out if the bite is on, and enjoy food delivered throughout the day via our supply boat.

The Coho Cafe

Feel free to spoil your appetite at our complimentary dessert and coffee bar. Espresso, cappuccino, and latte can be had from 5am to 10pm, and assorted pastries and baked goods around the clock.

Chef Curtis Demyon

Langara is pleased to have Executive Chef Curtis Demyon returning to lead our culinary team this season. Chef Curtis’ cuisine combines influences from his rural Canadian roots with extensive experience in West Coast oceanic fare. He’s worked at some of Vancouver’s finest restaurants — including Joe Fortes, Coast, and as Executive Chef of The Fish House in Stanley Park — and is an ambassador and strong advocate for the Ocean Wise program, which promotes the use of sustainable seafood products.

Celebrity Chef Series

On select dates in 2020, some of Canada’s top chefs will be taking over our kitchen to prepare a unique menu for our guests.

It’s a dining experience you won’t want to miss.
