January at Langara Island

Langara Island is a quiet place in January. The salmon you released last season has returned to spawn in its natal stream, the Bald Eagle that soared over your head has migrated south, and the humpback whale that glided by your boat is currently hanging out off the coast of Hawaii.

But in the coming months, Langara Island will come alive again. And just as a countless number of fish, birds and marine mammals will return to our waters this season, we also look forward to
welcoming you back in 2009.
